We support national and local advocacy groups to address access and research of cannabis. Bud Walker oversees Melissa’s expansion strategy, sales growth, and the next generation features of company products, ensuring our product vision aligns with market needs. With more than 16 years of development, sales engineering and product management roles under his belt, focused in the domain of Data Quality and Master Data Management (MDM), Bud evangelizes techniques for data governance in enterprise environments with regular articles, white papers, webinars and industry thought leadership. In his free time he enjoys hiking, big wave surfing, languages and traveling off the beaten path.

Prior to starting up cuetip, Keith worked in Finance at Tech and Gaming organizations such as Oracle, Activision, eHarmony, and Riot Games. He also was in the Mergers and Acquisition space with VCA and Greenstar North America, where he managed buy and sell-side deals. Keith has a BS in Economics from University of Florida, an MBA from Rice University, and serves on the Board of Satsong. In his new role, he is saving the world from bad cannabis decisions. He loves the ocean and is currently living the California Dream.

Kim holds a Computer Science degree from Rutgers University and has worked on everything from thousand-dollar to billion-dollar websites. She is an experienced engineering director and full-stack web developer. She has managed high-profile websites for clients such as Intel, Pfizer, NBC, Merck, IBM, Bausch + Lomb, Novartis, AstraZeneca, Celgene, Visa, Sharp, Leica, Toys"R"Us, Babies"R"Us, FAO Schwartz, Purdue, Wharton, WNYC, WQXR, The Gothamist, NY Public Radio, NJ Public Radio, Radiolab, and more. When not working, you can find her rocking out with her cover band, playing dodgeball, reading fantasy novels, or beating her kids at Mario Kart.

June Perlovich has over 20 years of experience in finance across multiple industries, including Tech, Biotech, Manufacturing, Entertainment and Services. Prior to joining cuetip, June spent the majority of her career in corporate finance, managing FP&A, M&A transactions, growth and savings initiatives, new concept developments, and valuation assessments. June received her BA from UCSD, and MBA from Pepperdine. In her new role at cuetip, June wants to have a good time building an innovative company with great people.

Santiago leads the sales team while also assisting in product development. For 10 years prior to joining cuetip, he was an Operating Manager for national retail chain stores. He organizes and inspires sales teams to execute profitable campaigns. As a leading member of the cuetip team, Santiago has been named the “Cannabis Ambassador”, responsible for connecting with the fast emerging cannabis community. When he is not at work, he lives it up in L.A., practices yoga, and travels our blue planet.

Prahlad has been building and maintain websites for clients of all sizes and industries for over 23 years brings those skills to cuetip to build and maintain the website and related elements. He is passionate about clean design, functionality, site security and customer satisfaction. Prahlad has an AS degree in Graphic Design Technology from SFCC. In his free time he enjoys traveling with his daughter, photography, surfing and snowboarding.

What is a benchmark?
Benchmarking is a process where you compare your products’ prices to current market prices to discover if your pricing is in line with others in the same category.
Will providing this information give any individual cultivator an edge?
Since everybody who contributes to this website will see the exact same information, nobody will get an edge over others who contribute. Cultivators not contributing, will not see the information, nor have an advantage over you.
How will you benefit from Cuetip's Benchmark?
You will benefit from this in multiple ways: A: Benchmarks are important because you can look at current trends in data and use it to assist in projecting future trends. B: Gain an independent perspective on how well your goods are performing. C: Enable a mindset and culture for continuous improvement.
How accurate is the information?
It is highly important to provide accurate data so the averages being calculated are accurate and can be used for your planning. We will screen the data weekly to ensure its accuracy.
Is my personal information protected?
You can sign up anonymously by picking a username and password and giving an email address to confirm your account. We won't ask you for any other information. We won't send you any spam emails. Also, if you feel you need an additional layer of privacy, you can open your browser in Incognito/Private Browsing mode and just create a new email. Privacy is our passion.
How often should I input my data?
You should input data once a week. You can enter the data at any time, as long as you choose the right date period. Once you input the data, it will allow access to the latest pricing data. Most cultivators will input the data every Friday, but we have allowed some flexibility for your convenience. All weekly data must be entered by Sunday midnight.
Is my data Anonymous?
Yes, your data will be anonymous. Users who log on will not be able to see the source of data. Privacy is respected in two ways: 1) This benchmark is invite-only so that we can screen out non-cultivators. 2) We will only identify which region the data comes from (Northern Cal, Central Cal, Southern Cal).
What information will I need to provide to see the updated Benchmark?
You will be first asked to input the strain, lineage, and growing method, and then you will be able to input your prices. Once you input your prices, then you can see the weekly averages. The filters are pretty cool, and they allow you to narrow down your search by state, region, lineage, or growing method. Or simply mix and match the filters to pinpoint your own search.
What if I have different pricing for different products in the same week?
You will have the ability to enter different prices for multiple products.
